Welcome to **ESD Quest**, the streamlined document management platform powered by the PandaDoc API. This system enables the efficient creation, customization, and sending of documents with powerful automation and a redesigned user interface.
π Quick Start Guide
1Template Selection
Choose a document template from the dynamic dropdown menu. All available templates are fetched and categorized for easy access.
2Recipient Configuration
Once you select a template, recipient fields are **dynamically generated** based on the roles defined in that specific document (e.g., "Client", "Sales Rep", "Spouse").
- Fill in the full name and a valid email address for each role.
- Pre-assigned roles (like a CC'd manager) will be displayed as read-only.
3Pre-fill with ESD Data
For supported documents, click the πͺ Pre-fill supported documents with ESD data! button to open the data entry modal. This is the fastest way to ensure accuracy.
- Enter the customer's 10-digit phone number. The system will search the ESD booking database.
- If a match is found, all corresponding customer data (name, address, etc.) will be automatically populated into the form fields.
- The data you enter is saved in your browser, so if you work with the same client again, their info may load automatically!
π‘ Pro Tip: The pre-fill feature is only available for specific contract documents to ensure data relevance. If the button is not visible, that template does not support this feature.
4Send Document
After all recipients and data are set, click **Send Document**. The system will:
- Generate the document using your selected template.
- Apply all pre-filled field values.
- Append the customer's name to the document title for easy tracking.
- Send the final document to all recipients for signature.
β οΈ Important Notes
Email Requirements: All recipients must have a valid and unique email address. The system will warn you if you attempt to use an email that is already in use by a pre-assigned/CC'd role.
Best Practice: Always use the **Pre-fill** feature when available. It's the most reliable way to ensure document accuracy and leverage the system's full potential.
